Cookie Policy
How Acf-P Pizza Academy uses cookies and similar technologies on www.acf-p.rest — what these files do, why we rely on them, and how you stay in control of them.
In short
What you need to know before reading further
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your browser on later visits and to remember certain settings or actions — for example, that you already closed a notice, or that a form field still holds what you typed.
A cookie does not run programs on your device and does not read other files stored on it. It carries a small amount of information that a website can look up again later. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways and are covered by this Cookie Policy as well.
Some cookies last only for the session and disappear when you close the browser. Others stay on your device for a set period so the site can remember a choice the next time you return. Both kinds appear on this website.
A note on the wording
Where this Cookie Policy says "cookies," it also means comparable storage technologies that do the same job. The label changes; the purpose and your control do not.

Why we use cookies
To keep the site working
When you submit a message or move between pages, the site needs to remember that it is still you. Without that, forms reset and navigation breaks. This is the smallest and most important job cookies do here.
To remember your choices
Where the site offers a preference — display settings, for instance — a cookie keeps that choice for your next visit so you do not have to set it again.
To see what is useful
Aggregate numbers show which recipes, guides, and masterclass pages get read, and where visitors tend to stop. That tells us which pages to expand and which instructions need clearer wording. Aggregate means we look at patterns, not at who you are.
What we do not do
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual visitors, we do not sell cookie data, and we do not track you across other websites for marketing.
Types of cookies we use
Three categories cover everything this website sets. They are listed from most essential to least, so you can see what a browser setting would affect.
Required for basic site functions, such as form submission and security. These keep the site and its forms working and cannot be switched off from inside the site.
Remember choices you make, such as display settings, so the site opens the way you left it on your next visit.
Collect aggregate data about page visits and usage patterns. They tell us how many people read a guide and where they leave, not who they are.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by service providers who support the website, such as analytics tools. These providers process data according to their own policies, and their cookies appear alongside ours when you inspect what your browser has stored.
We choose providers that limit data collection to what is needed for the service they perform. If a provider's role changes or a new one is added, this page will be updated to describe the change.
What this means in practice
A third-party analytics cookie reports that a page was viewed. It does not tell us your name, your email, or which masterclass you personally booked.
If you block third-party cookies in your browser, the site still works. We simply see fewer aggregate numbers when we review how the guides perform.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view the cookies already stored, delete them, and block cookies from specific sites or from all sites. The exact wording differs between browsers, but the controls are usually grouped under a privacy or security section.
If you clear cookies, preferences you set on this site are forgotten and you may need to make those choices again. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working, including forms — a contact message or a booking request may fail to send.
If you would rather write to us directly, you can send your question by phone or post instead. Our contact details are listed at the end of this Cookie Policy and on the Contact page.
Before you block everything
Blocking all cookies is a legitimate choice. Keep in mind that the academy's pages rely on session cookies to hold a form together while you type — a blanket block is the most common reason a message does not send on the first try.
Do Not Track and similar signals
Browsers may send a Do Not Track signal to the sites you visit. There is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, so this site does not currently act on those signals. You can use browser cookie controls instead to limit tracking — they work the same way regardless of the signal.
If a shared standard is adopted later, we will revisit how this website responds and update this Cookie Policy to describe the change.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change or when required. The current version is posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
If a change affects how we use cookies in a meaningful way, the revised wording will replace the text above rather than sit alongside it, so this page always describes what is actually true at the time you read it.
Questions about cookies
Do I have to accept cookies to read the recipes?
No. You can read the Recipe Collection and the Pizza Styles Guide with cookies blocked. Only forms and some preference-based behaviour depend on them.
Do analytics cookies identify me personally?
They report aggregate counts — how many visits a page received and where readers tended to leave. They are not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
Will a masterclass booking still work with cookies blocked?
Bookings rely on strictly necessary cookies to hold a request together. If your browser blocks them, use the phone number or the Contact page instead and we will take your request directly.
How long do cookies stay on my device?
Session cookies disappear when you close the browser. Others stay for a set period so a preference survives your next visit. You can delete any of them at any time from your browser settings.
